Yep I plan on doing the same. Great minds think alike.
Besides a 6 month extension saves me £15 so just not worth waiting imo.
Will get the Honda and Trumpet done this week or next.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Had a good tinkering session this afternoon
Had the fairings off and had a good check around, serviced the brake calipers, changed the brake and clutch fluid, lubed and checked the chain, checked all fasteners, give it a basic MOT check of lights and electrics, adjusted the tyre pressure so should be all set for a little bimble tomorrow. Nice and steady ride planned to scrub the front tyre in and tidy up my rusty skills after a lengthy lay off.
As a bonus and more by accident than good planning there is a crate and a half of beer in the man cave so currently enjoying a cold one, whitst admiring my handy work. Cheers all
I feel like a big kid, hiding in the garage nicking my dads beer till I get shouted in for tea tbh

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went for a ride on my bike, but came home before some reckless, mindless, idiotic, can't drive to save their life, dangerous, stupid as sh1t, cu#nting arse holed killed me.
I had more life's than a cat today and bloody used them all to stay in one piece too. Some (read many) people are so oblivious to how dangerous their actions are it's frightening.
Thankfully I'm old enough and wise enough, not to get angry but have the sense to come away.

I thought the roads would be full of day trippers. That's why I stayed in. I'm going to wait a couple of days.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I've been saying it for weeks now.. the most road users are **** terrible drivers at the minute! Usually they're in the minority but currently they aren't. Just saw someone overtaking at speed in a residential area, someone approaching a roundabout in the same residential area at about 60mph and sliding round the roundabout, and numerous other people thinking the 30mph roads littered with speed bumps here are their own personal race track.

Our roads are unpoliced on whole these days.
Chavs seem to have taken those over too.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I cant blame chavs for my experience today, just average clueless people.
Doing u turns in completely dangerous positions, driving on the wrong side of the road, abandoning cars in dangerous positions, stopping just round blind bends, pulling out on you and then driving mega slow, sticking noses out of junctions, driving whilst on phones, panic braking for no reason, right turns at last minute with no indicators, you name it some prick was doing it.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
That's untrue by me. Near the beginning of lock down we had probably 1 in 6 vehicles on the road which were police. Now we're around 1 in 30 but it's the same number of police.duke63 wrote:Our roads are unpoliced on whole these days.

Knock the compression back a couple of numbers, that'll make it seem more plush.

I got the fairings back on and gave it a thorough decontamination wash.
I did take it down the street too, making sure all the gears engage correctly and holy cow I forgot how flipping quick bikes are!
Not long until Cadwell Park!!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I looked at the Ultimate Addons universal XL phone case and the bikes sat-nav holder, the case is a beast and blocks 90% of the dash, also prevents full lock in both directions... Might need to re-think that one, and I still have to take the phone out of it's thin case to get it in there. The OnePlus 7 Pro is a big unit.

That's a great shot. It's like "Alternate Earth" or something.
