Reporting myself at work for a mistake. I used the wrong formula for an equation and it cost the client just over £500. Silly mistake on my part.

Openmediavault is good for Pi.
I've done a lot with Pi's so let me know if I can help
I need to find out if I can make openmediavault support zfs, apparently that's best for consistency for when the PI crashes.
The guy who lent it to me it's a storage specialist and used it as a NAS before he upgraded.

I just use rsync to another pi so dont need raid as such.
Pi's are pretty stable.

So attempt 1 went well....
The OMV install wiped out the wi-fi dongle somehow and it's complaining about low voltage.
Attempt 2 tomorrow without OMV and installing zfs manually.
