I have my fingers crossed, legs crossed, in fact anything that can be crossed is crossed.
My presentation is ready, shoes shined, haircut done, travel arrangements sorted....
It has been many many years since I had to go to a formal interview, thinking about it, probably 1976 when I had my formal interview to join the Police, so I am starting to get a little nervous now.
Oh well, all I can do is give it my best...
Good luck mate, I'm sure you'll smash it.
I've just secured another interview on Friday, hoping for 3rd time lucky...

And Mrs C booked us on a desert safari this afternoon
Enjoy the safari Cookie
Not sure if your the same as we were but we looked at Dubai for the half term holidays but the flight times from Manchester were terrible which put us off. We were worried about jet lag especially with small children.
Get some coffee and hope you wake up and feel better. Enjoy the holiday sounds amazing

Cheers. The kids are mid 20s now so fitting around their work commitments but Birmingham flight meant got to hotel at 2am. Plus then had an army of people showing us suite and waiting for tips.
Amazing place though. Always wanted to have a look..
Did you still get to chat with him on the phone though, Kwacky? Be good to know how he's holding up and how he's finding CBT. I've done it and found it very good, the Fiancé didn't find it helped her
The main thing I took away from CBT is that "getting back to who I used to be" is NOT the right thing to think or try - the person you used to be got you to where you are today, and where you are today is not where you want to be. CBT should change you, it should avoid you returning to where you are today but you will still keep all of what makes you, you; what makes you great.
I'm glad he at least has you and that he felt he could reach out to you
Went for an interview yesterday for a contract, the interview went well and they'd had a conference to decide on the successful candidate and then offered me the contact all before I'd driven home from the interview.
It's a big relief as I've not worked since the end of December and money is getting a bit tight.
Downside, it's a 100 mile round trip and the traffic can be crap at rush hour, so now I get to go bike shopping.
