Back on two wheels

After a year off bikes because I needed a car at the time, I finally got fed up with Birmingham traffic and bought a 400cc Suzuki Burgman scooter and it's ace
I chose it for practicality as it's just for commuting, it's got decent weather protection, plenty of storage and enough oomph for the motorway too and I'm not going to have time for pleasure rides for the next couple of busy years anyway. I parked it at work in a bike shed full of sports bikes and it stood out as the biggest thing in there

Step dad got one and I've used it. Great fun and very comfortable. Like riding an armchair

I prefer it to a traffic jam.
Just got a heated body warmer and gloves, and waiting for a leg cover and some waterproofs to be delivered.

I'm not fond of the chromed mirrors though, they look really tacky but I'm very fond of the body panel colour.

It does look pretty comfortable and those things are fast around traffic.

Those days have gone around my way, the guys drive around in some old clapped out car!
Happy commuting, you mean it's does not have heated seats ? Don't forget to see Pitty for a full set of racing graphics to slap on

the bigger 650cc version came with the food hotplates..... heated seats and grips.
I tested out the weather protection today on the ride home from work, stayed mainly dry from the waist down but I found I need a new jacket as it leaked like I may as well have not bothered with it. booked a full clean and treatment for Friday with the allyearbiker.co.uk people.

I used the guy in Worcester. it was a very thorough. I didn't do any before and after pics as it was pretty tidy when I took it anyway. a good guy and I'd recommend him.
