Kriega Sling bag

The wife bought me one of these for my birthday and despit the 'hipster' marketing I have to say its a top piece of kit.

I never find a rucksack very comfortable on the 748 but the Kriega waist bag i have is not big enough to carry waterproofs, wallet, phone and bottle of water.

This however is somewhere between the two but Kriegas special fastening system means its one pull to tighten it and one pull to loosen it off. If you undo the waist strap the bag can be swung round so you can access the contents without removing it completely. I've tried it on both the Multi and the 748 and works a treat. And as a final bonus one of the Kriega US5 bags will attach to to to give you more capacity if needed.

Not cheap but the the best never is.

Highly recommended by me. :)

Everything kriega make is well thought out and second to none on quality.

I'm considering there bum bag the R3 as would be a really useful addition to my current set up.

I'm going to be selling my kriega rucksack. I don't use it now I've got the one from Overboard, which beats it hands down.

Looks good. Definitely invaluable items when going out on journeys.

looks kinda fiddly to me, i'll stick to the overboard one too. I also have the problem with waist fastening bags not fitting with textiles on so it's rucksacs all the way for me really.

Just looked at how the us5 fits and it's a nice integrated product. Would be useful too as could keep waterproofs and personal possessions separate by using two separate bags. One of the added bonus's with buying kriega apart from its the best kit on the market bar none is its all module and works with other items in the kriega range. Very well thought out quality kit and no surprise it's the bench mark for bike luggage.

Tempted to get one myself as would make a very good travel bag for passport and essentials etc... when flying.

That was my thinking too. Has uses off the bike as well.

I also like the fact you don't have to remove the bag completely to access the contents.
