Track days are ace

So, first proper track day at Oulton yesterday, absolutely superb!

Bike passed noise test without baffle so pretty happy, red flags out in a couple of sessions including the first as someone had managed to dump oil from Druids to the pit lane entrance, on the line.

Booked instructor (Steve Brogan) for a couple of sessions which helped move my pace on, especially entry speed.

Some superb machinery there and some very quick riders.

Was getting very tired towards end of the day, legs especially and started making some mistakes so swerved the last session to get the bike ready to ride home.

This may get expensive...

That's the problem, you do one and you get the bug back.

Donnington or Mallory would be good tracks as central to most.

I need to get on the track soon to get some practice in before Spain.

I'd quite like to try donnington on the 600.

There's a Saturday (15) and Sunday (30) in August with focused events. Both 108db, the website is showing only 10 spaces on each though..

I'm really tempted...

Don't think I could do this year for a track day. Got a couple holidays coming up this year. Next year would be up for something [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

only 10 spaces left are a lie, its been a focused trait for a long time. they also have trouble running piss-ups in a brewery, and their days are all chrono, which means in my case, i get put in the wrong group because of bellends on very fast bikes with lots of money whom cannot ride a bike for toffee. just my 2p, count me out.

Friday 24th july Mallory No Limits, 105db or the sunday after 103db

Nothing in August for Mallory.

No Limits is doing Donny on the 16th August. I'm away but if that's popular go for that. 108db

There are a few weekend dates for Rockingham, which I like but I know a few people dont. Saturday 29th August, 104 db £135

Shall I start a new thread with 3 dates and a poll and see where that takes us?
