They tried to prise my ground anchor up from the floor but didn't suceeed,I'm so pissed off.EVery bike was hand built by me and irreplaceable :@
Do I report it to the police the bikes aren't insured so it seems a waste of time ?

I would report it mate - there may be a pattern, it may help the police. Why wouldn't you?

I know a little of how you feel - when my garage got done a few years ago they knicked about £3k of stuff - all my tools, mountain bike, mower, armour, swords, Marshall speaker cab and the one thing that was completely irreplacable and totally worthless from a monetary point of view (the freezer from the TV Dinner Lady Video). It's a horrible feeling isn't it? :@

Also if you're on Faceache and you have pics of the bikes try spreading the word - it might well make the bikes too hot to handle.

Andy, when you get chance post up some photos and I'll share them on twitter and facebook.

Might be worth speaking with the local cycle shops as well.

Those bikes are unique.

Ah mate, that seriously sucks. Do report it, a guy work with had his triathlon bikes stolen from his flat (serious bikes) the old bill came good and caught the guy a couple of days later.

If there are any pawn shops near you it might be with popping in as a few people have said that's quite often where the bikesv end up. Drugs money.

Absolute terrible news and very much feel for you mate.

Definitely let the police know and local bike shops or cycle clubs is a goof suggestion. Maybe offer a reward for there return as a suggestion, might get one chav grassing up another.

Can you claim on house insurance ?

They tried to crowbar the ground anchor up but failed
I'm buying a wireless alarm for the garage this afternoon
Reported to the police the local community officer is popping round later as a few garages in the area have been done recently

Can you make the door more secure ??? Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but these wankers often come back so make the place like a fortress.

Bike theft seems to be on the increase (gah) it drives me mad that the police don't seem to be stamping this out. I think they think because people are insured its victimless crime which it clearly isn't.

Just read this on FB!!! Bloody scum, they really need to be dealt with (not via the law courts) I hate thieves. I have been painting the fence and gardening mostly today,,, while I was at it, I saw some scum taking too much of an interest in what's down my drive. That was driving past in a white transit.

Absolute twats mate. We had our shed broken into lat year, took 2 brand new mountain bikes.... i was in Devon at the time, so it was the missus on her own. It's a horrible feeling, totally sympathise with you. We weren't insured as i didn't specify the bikes on the policy. ;(

i caught some scrote trying to nick my bike cover last week, so Naturally i shot him. with my Metal BB gun.

Sorry to hear this Perkles however glad the motorbike is safe. Like others have said I hate thieves lowest of the low. Just don't understand how someone can take what is not theirs. Again very sorry to hear this mate
