I love track days but never seen the appeal of the ring either in a car or bike

I've heard too many horror stories about the place. I would do it in one of their taxis but not on a bike.

I guess I must be the only one to wonder why most of the bikes I just watched seemed to get cold feet part way through the corner, I would amend my advice to "If you've never ridden quickly on a track, don't start with the 'Ring".
Having said that, the highside Kwack and the Gixer whose front folded looked to be doing ok until a poor surface/lack of adhesion caught them out.

My first impression was that it was amateur hour at the ring. That corner in particular did seem to be catching out a high percentage of riders though?

I think it mentions elsewhere that a car had dumped some fluids on the track at that point.
Safety seems to come very low on the list of priorities at the Ring from what i have seen.
Its madness to have cars and bikes trying to go as fast as possible on the same piece of track at the same time.

You can see the line of oil. Cars were struggling as well
