I've said before that I didn't think he could turn his back on it. He strikes me as the sort that has a strop, makes a rash decision then looks to backtrack. Testing motorbikes for Honda was a way to scratch that itch. But the itch has turned into a rash.

He'll be back.

I hope the rumours of Suzuka are true and its a good place to return as more about consistency than outright blistering pace which he must be lacking a little due to little race bike saddle time baring a few tests for Honda.

I truly hope your right Kwacky I really do, as you know I'm a huge fan but IMO I can't see it happening. Following twitter his time is busy with fishing, Rc cars, motocross and family and he seems happy and content, but saying that what the fook do I know.

These one off events will suit him if he's still keen on doing all the other stuff.

He's got a MotoGP season in him though, he knows that.
