He's fast and yes he's a fantastic rider but last season he seemed to lack a bit of fight in him.

I think Lins assessment is pretty accurate , he (Lorenzo) made a couple of mistakes early on and was on the back foot , I think he did well to recover 3rd in the championship standings , but he was overshadowed by a resurgent Rossi .

He had three operations last winter and no matter how fit and healthy you are, three lots of anesthetic and post-op drugs will knock the stuffing out of your system.

I think MM shook things up a bit for the GP regulars, and Rossi adapted better than Lorenzo.....but yeah, he didn't seem to have the same fight in him last season.

Didn't the change in front tyre effect Lorenzo more as his style relies more on corner speeed which needed a high level of edge grip than the replacement tyre could delvier.

he is front heavy in his riding style. Marquez and Rossi seem to ride the rear more.

He started to adapt towards the end of the season and I m sure he will bounce back as people of his caliber don't just fade over night.
