848 EVO

I got him down to £8500 on a PCP finance deal before the panic set in and I had visions of divorce!
It's absolutely spotless, looks like the owner had a toothbrush fetish and if the dealer had told me it was brand new I would have believed him. Even the brake discs looked like they'd never touched the pads.

Anyway I ran out clutching my credit card!

They are lovely bikes. I had a good look at one last year. Not sure how that compares to a new 899 cost, but a fabulous bike. Do it!

Think I'm going to just not on a PCP, which means back to waiting till April. Not like theres much winter biking in Buxton anyway, so I'm not missing much.

That seems sensible enough. You can organise a local rideout to show off your new toy to make up for missing this year's event

That seems a good idea. Could you give him some ££ and they keep it until April mothballed for you? If it's the one you want?

Nah, I have a sneaky suspicion there's going to be a lot of low mileage never seen daylight 848s traded in for the 899

I reckon you could pick up one nearly as nice for a fair bit less, Monty. That sort of money they are asking could buy a Corse SE version.

I reckon you're right, but to be fair it really was a new bike the photos don't do it justice.

I think I prefer those in looks to a Panigale.

I know what you are saying. The Panigale has a much more modern feel to it's handling though.

Think I'm getting a Duke, Duke. Recon that maybe Cornish's old bike. Same year, same can, same dealer service, similar mileage and same tyres. Plus he's owned a good percentage of every bike so it's quite probable!
