Maybe in body but not in mind I'm a long way from the pipe and slippers BMW boxer brigade I love my sportsbikes too much

There is a lot taken from this bike, Blade which is one of my fave bikes of all time.

Sorry can't see the connection myself its like comparing an r1 to a fazer 1000 as they share some compoments.

Don't worry, I'm in your corner. I don't like that bike and it certainly is nothing like the iconic Beemer.

I was Soo close to buying one about 4 years ago as I worked round the corner from the motorad dealer

I love these....ever since seeing at the bike show....

Styling and engine wise there are quite a few similarities.

What i want from biking has changed in the last few years.

I am quite fit for my age apparently but even so there is no stopping advancing years and the toll it starts to take on you physically.

I agree about the age thing. I reckon I've got a handful of years left on a sportsbike.

Its good that you don't need a sportsbike for sportsbike-like performance these days.

I love being able to take the 748 for a few hours but not sure i could cope with a whole weekend on it anymore.

The only ache i had from riding the Multi in 50 hours a few weeks ago was from the wrist i broke at Mallory and that was only when i was having to work it hard in the twisty sections.
