That's very impressive and they scored well in recent tyre test in pb mag.
I got 2700 out of the Rosso corsa which although riding a torquey 1000 its neatly half the mileage of the m7 which is surprising for such a good and comparable tyre.
No consideration for mileage or wet conditions. It covered track and road as two sperate tests written up in two separate magazines with an overall winner.
New tyres are bit weird IMO as most people try something different and end up saying brand B is so much better than brand A that they have just removed. Where in reality that most likely isn't true. What is true is brand B brand new tyres are better than worn brand A tyres as the profile is not squared off.
I went out on brand new rosso corsa's tyres today in identical constions on identical roads to a set of half worn (not finished off) Rosso corsa tyres yesterday. The difference is amazing and mainly due to the profile being intact so they are so much sweeter steering. Being new the grip levels were lower and I had a couple of slides when getting too carried away but they did feel great which I m sure is down to profile more than anything.
Yep. I can tell mine are wearing as the fairing is starting to catch again.
I reckon I've got a good 2+ mm on the rear before I hit the indicator though. Will try and work out the rough mileage over the weekend as I'm curious now after your post on mileage.
