Front reservoir tank

Post by Kwacky »

I may as well get a new front fluid reservoir for my brakes seeing as I'm upgrading the lines.

Any suggestions?

Company in the US called ABM make some really nice ones that would suit your bike perfectly, kwacky.

Not sure how easy they are to get hold of in the UK though.

Why would I have a Brembo when I've got a Beringer sat here doing nothing? (devil)

I just have mine in a cyclinder sock as I like that look, only problem is they get grubby pretty quick and I find I have to make a conscious effort to check the fluid level as out of sight out of mind

Those restarts look pretty nice for the money and at that price I wouldn't be too worried about dropping it and needing to buy replacements

It's catch 22 on the rearsets. Like you say, the price is good. But what' s the quality going to be like? Are they likely to fail?

I doubt they would fail ,they are made on a cnc like any other rearset that costs twice as much. The levers I bought from them are as good as £150 crg levers

Only problem is for my age of bike they only come in gold, not too keen on them, from what Ive read I could fit 07-08 ones but they look very different (better, but different), and as cheap as they are compared to other rearsets they are not cheap enough for me to take a gamble on lol

Like Perkles says I also have cheaper levers and they do seem pretty good quality
