He might want to keep the baffle in. It will be loud anyway, have you heard an RC8 with a race can on? :D they are mentally loud.

Perkles - keep the original can handy and if you are doing trackdays, check the noise as some tracks fail RC8s with standard cans on when they are 98db days... Most trackday organisers will know what bikes pass with certain cans before you turn up.

the limit was 105 and I dont have a rev counter on the monster so the test was a bit dodgy .They were ok about it though :)

I think you were very lucky at that level Perkles as after recent events at the circuit I would have expected them to be really anal regards noise levels as its being lenient that got them in trouble and the circuit closed.

Glad you did get through though.

Decided I couldn't justify the expense of an Abba stand so went for a normal paddock stand but with casters on it. It works a dream, pop the bike up and then I can just side it into position against the wall.

It's a QTech, seems like a decent bit of kit but only time will tell with these things

Linky: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230928308666? ... 1497.l2649

Highly recommend the seller. Took less than 24 hours from clicking the Buy It Now button to the courier ringing the doorbell.
