Panettone is very moorish.

Anyway, you don't need to go to France, it's lovely and warm here in Brum :D

I did a bacon and pea risotto last night, came out very well, due in part to the Manzanilla sherry I used, it's unspeakably foul stuff to drink, but is great to cook with. I like almost any sort of alcoholic drink, but for some reason sherry has always tasted disgusting to me, I was recommended the manzanilla as something I'd like - nope it's still horrible. But as I mentioned previously it does work well when cooking. :)

The lassie's homemade fishcakes......holy crap, these are pretty good!!

But with spaghetti??.....she needs to work on her presentation.

I do minimalist meals.....if I do steak, you're getting a steak and some potatoes, and maybe some peas if you're lucky.
But I'm at a different age I guess.....I like doing small courses, but lot's of them.....if you call 4 "a lot".

They do!! An In'N'Out shake is better, but Mickey's are pretty good.....and I've said it before, Mickey's is better in the UK.

Wait.....did Ross mention nuggets???

Vile kiddie food....it's like eating accumulated plankton from your bathtub that's been battered and deep fried, and then maybe dipped in grease for 14 days.

Just about to tuck into a curry..

As Mrs Nutz cooks quite a bit of the festive period we quite often have a take away or posh ready meal on christmas eve. Decided to dive into the prosecco as well :)

No way Darren the nuggets are the best food they do...the burgers are like cardboard and in all honesty would be surprised if they didn't contain cardboard too!! Lol! But best chicken around is Mr Cod...everyone knows that not even KFC touch them...however I won't go near a KFC as over here they are terrible!!

No, Ross......on the scale of 'wrong'.....1 being "a bit off-putting", and 10 being "totally wrong",.....you're coming in at about a solid 240 mate......you're the fecking Gary Sobers of wrongness.

I don't know.....I just can't eat the food from that place....it started a LOOOOONG time ago, when I'd go buy the ex & the lads some food, and get nowt for meself...they look at you like "You don't like McD's....what's your problem??"....well, nowt if you wanna go pay for it yourself...usually shuts them up.

As for chicken......Ross mate, you gotta have "Popeye's".....it's about 15,000,000,000,000 calories per bite....even if I have a bite, you'll gain weight.....your arteries will instantly clog up, and you'll be praying for NHS reform before you know it.

Maccy Ds is horrible and I really don't see how they have made it that big - however most fast food chains over here are a billions Times worse than anyotger part of the world! Companies here seem to think we like our food frozen then when cooked - microwaved or deep fat fried we aprently like it dripping in grease or burgers unbelievably thin. I don't eat a lot of fast food in all honesty I hate the fact these companies are serving up heart attacks on a plate to everyone including little kids - should be some sort of limit however once and a while it's like a treat, pizza and Chinese being my top 2 haha!!

Anyway today I am hoping to be eating a lovely roast and massive amount of chocolate that is my eating habbits today!! Lol

I'm going to my parents now, for lunch with them & my brother's family, then home to have the lunch Deany's cooking for us & her visiting family hoards.

It's actually a nice day out there today, I should be doing the traveling on my beloved 675. :?
