It's not bad at all, it was a good re-boot to the franchise, albeit a bit long......then they ruined the whole thing with that "Quantum Of Solace" nonsense and the obligatory moonbase in the middle of the desert. WTF?

I actually watched it last night too, while eating me bangers and mash with gravy......then I watched The Great Escape....you know, that really is an awful movie.....I mean, when they all bust out it's cool, and all us bikers just drool over the bike scenes (a lot of the "Germans" were SMQ)....but the rest of it sucks.
Just finished reading "Live & Let Die" (yes, it is the book after Casino Royale) apart from the three main characters and one or two similarities it's nothing like the film. Not sure why they bothered tbh as the original storyline was way better than the film and far more believeable to boot; however it was raided mercilessly for other films in the series, read it and you'll recognise the scenes I mean.

You can't watch The Great Escape unless it's raining and it's a Bank Holiday, it definitely isn't a film to be taken seriously - apart from the last part of course, which is deadly serious. It doesn't really know if it's a romp or a serious film and falls short on both counts, but for the most part it's fairly entertaining.
Might check that out....I didn't know L&LD was an original book, although I quite enjoyed the movie....well, apart from the comedic sheriff, that was a bit bad.

I think "The Spy Who Loved Me" has to go down as my fave.....it was the first one I saw at the movies.

Now watching Real Steal on BCC2
Rush was great.....Ron Howard rarely turns out a bad movie.....I watched it a few times, and it seemed quite accurate from my small-boy memory of it......Lauda really got a lot of criticism for his meticulous approach...even in the way he gifted Hunt the championship. A true pro.

So long as it shows that the "americans" who defeated the Brits were all spanish and french I'm cool with that. ... ;)

Let me know if it's any good. It seems to be getting mixed reviews at the moment.

Was watching a brand new show Naked Speed. They kinda take old bikes and turn them into café racers...wasn't great, but it wasn't bad - the two guys hosting it are trying to be a bit more 'Top Gear' than 'American Chopper'....and they do take the bikes to the track and guys like the Bostrom brothers test them out....I'd watch it again.

Better Call Saul has started.

Watched both last night. I enjoyed Walking Dead. Not too sure about Saul.

We watched Walking Dead as well, it's one of the few shows that we try to watch when it's on rather than record it and watch it whenever.

Last night's episode was a nice gentle reintroduction to the series!!!

Some old videos of my kids that I took on an old phone. I found the phone yesterday and charged it out of curiosity. Amazing to see the changes in them!

Flicking around but ended up with a program called Catfish. It's making me laugh as some poor fella believes this drop dead gorgeous girl wants him...not strange in its self but bwhat is strange is the Facebook profile that this person is showing to him and the fact she hasnt rang or met up together etc! What has happened to the old fashioned way of atcyally seeing someone and starting to like them knowing they are then real!
