See, nearly double the price and it wouldn't go any higher over Itchy's Leap.

It would however get cleaned more often and I'd get a easy chair for garage.

Itchy's Leap! (lol)
My knackers wince at the very mention. The rest of me almost spat my ham and cheese baguette out over the works keyboard!

The Ducati is note expensive but do they hold there value better so ownership costs are similar overall ?

Sod buying bike for the resale value, buy it to thrash the nuts off it.

I agree Kwacky.

I was trying to persuade his heart by using his head.

The 848 is a great bike.

I took Will over Itchy's Leap a few months ago in the car. Got all four wheels off the ground and Will about a foot out of the seat!

Yep!

Blade is more about what I have to spend than what I'll sell it for, as I tend to keep bikes for a long time. I had the Daytona for 7 years!

(lol) Very true, my only regret with the Daytona is it died at the start of the summer and not the end. Oh and I wish I hadn't spent that 700 quid on plastics as I didn't get the use out of them. Which reminds me I must get them on eBay and post you that brake switch!

£700 on plastics???? You telling me I've been fooking around for ages trying to repair and reprint my fairings and you have a set going to waste????

And I got a beefy spring so the brake pedal would return properly and it made it thru' MOT. But I'll still get that switch off you. I did look on eBay but they where all either in China or the UK!

Long story on the plastics, it was going to be an insurance claim after been hit by a truck so bought them new from Triumph. But as I was filtering at the time the insurance company were pressuring me to go 50/50, then we had twins and never got round to it!

There has since been a new president set on a rider filtering incident so might have another crack at it.
