I got as far as "Patel asce" when Google auto filled it.

There's about 30 articles about it.

Sadly true and according to the radio just now, its still being considered. The world is going to hell in a handcart.

Its time for a proper revolution with gulloltines for the guilty ones at the top.

On the face of it, it seems a ludicrous idea. Let's hope it comes to nothing more than "considered"

Tbh winter will calm things down without the need for intervention as the conditions won't be suitable.

Poor weather may well reduce, for a short while, the numbers of these desperate souls willing to risk their lives to reach this country..
.. However that is by no measure going to address the underlying long-term problems, is it.?

After winter we'll start to become a third world country and immigration will turn into emigration.

I don't think winter will make much difference.

People tend to emigrate for economic reasons more than anything else. For sure family, weather, work, and other factors will play a role in their decision, but at the end of the day it's the almighty dollar that calls the shots.
Or the pound, euro, pfennig, peso, etc.

Have to wonder at the mentality of those in charge making these decisions.

And bearing in mind the Home Secretary is of immigrant background it beggars belief.

I see that the Canary Islands are the latest target for immigrants. Over 1,000 arrived this weekend alone.
