I was very warm as I left my house this morning.. 3.5* the car said and about 6 when I got to work. Very mild.
Trouble is, the heating is on full pelt at work and I'm sweating like a priest in a playschool

Much warmer this morning but the roads are still covered in that horrible black sludge. The bike doesn't look like it was cleaned last Saturday.

Thing is, those pics actually make it look cleaner than it really is

I took a photo of my visor for the visor thread and it looked clean, so I didn't bother posting it.
Isn't it about time you got a new bike?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I still have debt to pay off on this one. I combined a loan to pay for the bike and our touring van. It ends 2018, so a year and a bit to go.
Which will tie in nicely, as currently nothing in the Triumph range is quite grabbing me enough to go into debt for. ***
I still really like my bike, and can't see any reason to swap it. Its now well into 30,000+ miles and never lets me down despite my shocking treatment of it. I've not cleaned or lubed or touched it since my large service back in June. That includes the chain.
Yet it soldiers on.
Come 2018 once paid off I'll probably then look to just buy another and keep this as my commuting hack. I don't think I would get anything for it if I sold it anyway.
***There's plenty of stuff I like, EG. the new bobber. But I need a bike that can do it all, and I don't think that would look good after the abuse I give bikes.

That's fair enough. That's pretty much where I'm at with the SX - I like it, it does everything I need, it's not let me down and I'm putting the miles on it so it's losing value quickly. I think I'll keep it until it dies on me.
Still looking for a second bike though. If you see a Speed Triple R in grey that needs a new home then send it my way.

That's expensive. I've seen blinged up low mileage ones for under £10k.

I hoping the rain is doing a decent job of cleaning the bike.
I'm going to have to wash it again this weekend, aren't I?

Nothing stays clean for long on the roads at this time of year.

As long as you have ACF50 on your bike it should be good for a couple of months even as you use your bike for everyday commuting

That means you have to clean it first.
The guy who did mine is about 2 minutes away from where you work.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Washed it so it's ready to be covered in crud again.
I did think about changing the rear brake line but soon realised I couldn't be arsed.
