It's at times like this when I wonder why I decided to bring a human into the world.

There's no doubt they want a no-deal, they just haven't worked out who they can blame it on yet.

never in a million years were the EU going to give the UK a trade deal that gave us the access we had as an EU member state.

Its not in their interests to do so.

There is a massive economic crisis looming for the UK in the new year.

Every parent ever has that thought at one time or another.

For the tax write-off.

And for what Duke wrote. Probably.

You couldn't make it up could you?

Says everything about what Brexit was really all about.... billionaires not being stung by the banning of offshore companies.

Meanwhile Honda say delays at the ports mean they might have to stop production due to parts shortages.

yes but isn't it a Land Rover? If so, its only worth 2kg
No, it’s a 2017 GTI with the performance pack, probably should have asked for 6!
I have no need of a GTI whatever that is. I have some bikes, cars are just plain boring.

You're driving the wrong cars! Haha.

I'm a fan of cars and bikes. A car that's playful is a fun car. The Seat Leon myself and Cookie have is a decent little thing, lightweight by modern standards and with enough poke to have a hoot.

I'm with Bob, my 230bhp is Golf is blisteringly quick for a car and great fun, but it spends most of its time stuck behind two quarry lorries and a caravan! I've got both a Van and a car but if I had to pick one I'd pick the Van.

Bob, can we come to some other arrangement with the Saussison? Not the Van though!

The OBR forecasts that the combined effects of no-deal will result in more than 300,000 job losses by November next year, in addition to the nearly million more people who are expected to be made unemployed as a result of the Covid crisis.

Consumer prices could rise by 1.5% above the OBR’s central forecast, and lower tax receipts and higher spending on welfare and other measures could mean borrowing is higher by 10 billion pounds ($13.38 billion) a year on average from 2021-22 onwards, pushing up debt.”

“The imposition of tariffs on EU imports, higher non-tariff barriers, and a drop in the exchange rate all raise consumer prices, leaving them 1.5% higher by the forecast horizon than in our central forecast.”

(wait) You're being one sided again Kwacky. You need to balance your post with some of the advantages. (nod)

We'll only be eating British fish from now on. British fish fished in British waters by British fishermen.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Haulier whose business it is to move freight between the UK and EU tells us the reality. Whilst Tory twats like Gove and Johnson get ready to count all the millions they will make from the UK crashing out with no deal.
