Stock I've seen high 170's to low 180's.

But with an end can, decat link pipe and set up properly a genuine 195 to 198 bhp at the rea tyre.

It's good that their are so many choices and different ways of enjoying bikes.

Cookie used the word 'involving' and that's exactly what riding the 748 is as it only makes 90 bhp.

Equally it's nice sometimes to experience silly amounts of power. It just needs more restraint more of the time. Licence preservation is always on my mind though as I would lose most of my work if I lost my licence.

Looking at the 1299 dyno charts the big Ducati vtwin is a brutal monster of an engine. To put it in perspective 160 bhp at 8000 rpm is a midrange the size of a fireblades top end. The electronic aids must be almost permanently deployed on that bad boy (raaar)

Nice dip at 5500rpm, I wonder what gets tested at that point.

from chaz davies "Yesterday was too much fun ripping around Imola on the ‪#‎Ducati‬ ‪#‎Panigale‬ R road bike. Such a capable bit of kit and a lot of fun to ride. In full road trim including tyres my lap times would have easily qualified for the @WorldSBK grid. Really cool to see some of the trick stuff I've helped develop transfer though to the production line and keep you road riders happy! Thanks @DucatiMotor for allowing me to play !"
lap times statement is an eye opener !

Good but If he was on a road going zx10 he would have been front row ;) not just on the grid.
