If dealers end up with too much p/x stock it's got to effect used values.

Very bling. That wouldn't take much getting used to.

Get a test ride on one Kwacky, if nothing else a good afternoon out. I would be very interested to hear your opinion on one after a test ride.

(wait) Great idea that Blade, I could do that,:
Book a test flight over the phone.
Then turn up on my battle-scarred 675 with her track trim.
Watch the Dealers panic & swiftly backtrack.. :D

Is that like a grip shift on the old Grifters?

That was on the right, wasn't it?

I got blisters on my thumb knuckle from the rubber guards at the inside edge of those grips.

I don't think it would take long.

No different to getting used to a autobox car.

Seriously considering seeing out my last few years of sportsbikes with a Panigale. Not a new 1299 mind. :D

Spoke with Ducati today at the NEC show and its total bollocks by MCN and not a gear shift its just an up and down toggle switch for changing settings in the electronic settings for tc and abs.

Now there's a thing... I reckon we should sell the info from tankslap roving reporters to MCN, it would be a lot more accurate...

I'd love to see a foot operated DSG / paddle style gearbox.. Absolute perfection would be to combine that with the ability to override back to a full manual box..

Isn't the foot operated quickshifter which works up and down pretty much the same thing as a foot operated paddle box?

Tbh as nice as the 1299 is it is expensive at £16695 for the base model imo. You can get a HP4 for that with better electronics, better components, more carbon and forged wheels etc...

It is a premium product and extremely desirable but at that money for the base model its bad value IMO, however saying that expensive price tags haven't stopped Ducati selling sports bikes before. I guess if you want a Ducati you want a Ducati.

Journalists got to ride them yesterday. Looks more stable than the 1199.

have they done anything to the suspension then ??, when I looked at it at the bike show it looked no different unless they are subtle changes.
