That's about right I reckon. Light tech is changing the front of a lot of new bikes that's for sure...

I like the look of the bike but those colour schemes WOW who ever did them wants sacking NOW

I think there Yamaha corporate colours as used in motogp when no sponsor available.

There's a Yamaha dealers meeting next week so we might get some more information about the new R1 and other Yam models, such as prices.

Rumours are the base model will be 16-17k and the high spec machine 25k

I think it'll sell regardless. The R1 has a decent following and Yamaha build quality is normally ok. The Rossi connection helps sales. Like yer man said, the annabees will have already ordered the leathers to go with it.

I think a race can or full system will improve the looks and will sound stunning.

I m hoping it will look better in the flesh and sometines these designs can grow on you. I remember disliking the stub nose of the 08 Blade but now it looks good, funny how your view can change over time.
