Well my son has decided recently that 6am is the ideal time to go to the bathroom. Every morning for the past few days. So I'm being woken up before the alarm, which is very annoying.

Do you do any exercise? Just asking as at the beginning of the year we had a stay active challenge when we had one of those motion monitors, which collected points the more you exercised moved. My sleep was much better with just working the dog for an hour on a night time.

My biggest problem with sleep was apparent this morning.. After a 14 hour day (with a 45min run thrown in for good measure), not getting home 'till after 11pm I was just about ready for a decent kip, a quick glass of wine to allow my brain to wind down and snooze was imminent... Well that was until the youngest woke up crying at about 12:30, sorted her out and settled down again, it took a while to get to sleep but it did happen. Not for long as it turns out, the eldest decided that 5am was morning and we needed to share it with him :@ (swear)

Now to say I am a little tired tonight is an understatement.. (yawn)

When i changed my diet about my sleep improved a lot , i cut caffeine out and stopped eating processed food. I eat the odd bit of processed food and caffeine and i can tell when i have eaten badly i get a kind of hangover.

I know what you mean there. I didn't get a chance to exercise last week and had 3 takeaways. I was starting to feel really lethargic, feel much better today after a run yesterday..

Perky, is it worth trying to break the routine when you wake up? How about getting up, having a drink or reading for a short while then going back to bed?

Worries like that will make matters worse.

Do you know the chinese place at the top of my road next to the chippie? Go there and have a proper massage done. It's a good start and it will relax you. She's really good. She might be able to tackle the sleep issue as well.

:D

I wasn't offered any extras so either she doesn't do them or I wasn't her type.

As weird as it sounds, you might try acupuncture if they offer that. Nothing really to risk
