A bit crap. Got a new date for the op yet?

No new date. I've got to wait. I had to wait for 4 months last time.

That really sucks mate. Fingers crossed they get it sorted quickly this time. I really think given the wait and mess up that you should be offered the chance to go private as compensation.

Sorry to hear this Kwacky, you get yourself keyed up and it falls apart through someone's poor planning. Have they given you a new date?

4 months is a bit crap, hopefully it will be shorter wait this time.

NHS is severely short staffed as they have no money. All our local hospital services on Stafford are being moved to Stoke or Wolverhampton in November.

I've been offered 12th September, which I can't do.

They can't offer me a date in October, because it makes their waiting lists look bad. So they'll send me a letter and I have to call them next month.

Surely if it's an elective date by the patient the waiting list is moot?

Operaton on Friday 17th.
