Love a cheese and onion, especially if the onions are good and strong!
Am currently sharing sardine pong with my customers. They love me too.

Went out with the boy and Megan for For her birthday yesterday to a place called Hickory's Smokehouse. We'd never been so had a platter for 2, it would have fed 3 comfortably. Pulled pork and BBQ beans, 2 types of pork ribs, beef flat rib, smoked sausage, brisket, pickles, coleslaw and fries. We were properly stuffed.

I caught my daughter making her self penne with gravy.
I kid you not.
She cooked the pasta in water, put stuck some gravy granules in there.
I felt a bit queasy when I discovered it.

Well....isn't marinara sauce just a tomato- based 'gravy' of sorts???
I think it was France where someone asked me if I wanted "sauce" on a steak and it was just the universal word for gravy.
Come to think of it, it would HAVE to be France, as I've never been anywhere else, and that was ages ago.

Pork chops with a cider, mustard and cream sauce and crispy potato slices. Very yum indeed.
