Sounds like a huge figure until it's compared to the 150,000 people worldwide that die each & every day.

Or....

In 2003 the population of the U.S. was just over 290,000,000 people.
Over 2.4 million of them died that year.

Staggering figures when you think about it.

Finally ran out of toilet-paper today, and because I didn't have anything else, I had to use lettuce leaves instead.
Believe you me, this is just the tip of the iceberg!

We’ve had a series of retail lockdowns. In particular pubs and restaurants have closed, but off licence sales and takeaways are still available.

People have started to finally panic buy something sensible!!

Ive been isolated for a week now and my main news feed has been from my phone. Think I ve been in a bit of a bubble and no idea of what's going on out there.

I watched the news last night and the images of mass crowds over the weekend were a big surprise. I can see why you guys were saying people need isolating from each now and tbh I agree (blush) people are clearly not helping themselves or each other. Think my idea is dead in the water (facepalm)

I'm going to get tested tomorrow morning.
Or this morning actually as it's after midnight.
A friend of a friend has tested positive. My mate suspects he might have it too, which will mean I'm probably fecked.

He's talking about two weeks in a hotel to "self-isolate".
I'm talking about this being total fecking bullsh#t.
Not particularly happy right now.
