Baroness Harding is married to John Penrose, Tory MP for Weston-super-Mare.

John Penrose sits on the board of 1828, a think tank which demanded the break up and replacement of Public Health England (PHE).

PHE is being scrapped. Replacement to be run by... Baroness Harding.

Williamson now denying any responsibility for the **** ups.

Listen you cockwomble, if you are in charge you take full responsibility for what happens on your watch. That’s how leadership works...or not in your case.

Embarrassed that he represents my constituency though thank fully I have never voted for him.

Spineless.

Just following the PM's lead I guess... **** things up and then run, hide, and blame someone else.

Before they get caught? They're so brazen about it. I do not understand this country anymore.. I have no faith in anyone in the position of power nor half of the UK population.

Britain needs shot of these jokers before they destroy the Country for good.

Amongst the business community, i hear no one have a good word to say about the Government and plenty say they are a joke.

There can't be much left to sell, the class gap is growing ever larger, and is there any actual leadership in this country?

Mass unemployment creates a bank of cheap labour. Couple that with new employment laws that favours the employer not the employee and you can see where we're going next.

It's almost like they are purposely degrading the quality of life and country wide standards so once brexit is done we are already used to living in a crap country that is at the mercy of global private businesses.

A Tory think-tank this week put forward a recommendation to raise the current pension age of 65 to 70 by 2028 and 75 by 2035.

Where are all the jobs going to come from to keep these people in work?

Political nonsense.

75.....?? That's insane.
People are living longer these days...but not THAT much longer.
I'll bet that would mean that at least 50% of people would not make it to a govt. pension.
