Dunno atm as Im on my 3rd rear in just over a year due to punctures (facepalm) but Ive had 2 trackdays in the wobblers group and about 1000 miles so far on my current rear and still seems good, starting to square of slightly but doesnt need replacing just yet, the front was on the bike when I got it and Ive put 3k miles on it since then and its starting to look a little low and ill be replacing it over next few months

I think we used to pay about £150 a pair for new tyres fitted. That's how long you've been out of the game :D

Well all this talk of tyres it would seem that is my next purchase, not sure what to do atm, my rear is ok, a little squared off but probably good for a little while longer (especially if I get back to a track and use the sides properly), so do I a) replace front and rear for more Pirellis, b)just replace the front, which is the one that really needs doing and probably the best option but then means im limited to sticking a new pirelli on the back again next time the rear needs doing, or c) swap them both out for a set of Dunlop Sportsmart 2's

With a wedding coming up I would replace the one tyre. Especially if you're happy with them.

If you got a wedding coming, the cheaper option. You can always try new tyres next time. I have often changed as a pair even though the front was ok.

thats the way im leaning (no pun intended) plus that the leaves me with a bit spare cash for a trackday or towards the wheelie school :D (the wedding is paid for, this is my money ;))
