Is yours a V6 or a V8, Cookie?

I went to a Ducati Owners club meet last year and one of the members turned up in one of these. He worked for JLR and they were all given usage of an F type for a week so they could tell anyone who asked how good they were. He was saying how the engine blocks are the same whether its a V6 or a V8. The V6 just has the last two cylinders blanked off.

8 speed auto plus paddle shift. 3 different modes. Dynamic mode is like a manual. Plus it's snorts like a hippo on the upshift 8) and blips on the downshift.
