Very sorry to hear this Cav. It's very tough having a dog pass, they are your best mate in a way. Always there for you and always happy to listen or to cheer you up. Like the others have said remember the good and fun times

Lost both our fur babies within 3 months of each other 3 years ago.
Still hurts. Its like losing children, they meant that much to us. My wife was severely depressed for months. She still hasn't gotten over it.

Still brings tears to the eyes when ya remember them.
Never forgotten.

I've never owned a dog more for than one night, but them bitches always had a big smile on there face as they got their bone (lol)

I wasn't able to get any emotion out yesterday so not sure how it's going to work today.. in all honesty I don't think it's sunk in.

The main thing is that Dillon was in his happiest place and died when he was ready, this is the first pet death without being put to sleep by the vet. If you could choose the end of your life I think he would have chosen this.
