No, I fully understand that. The H2R is clearly for people with the cash to have a toy, it's not aimed at real world bikers IMO.

The H2 sold well initially but I've no idea if it's still popular. If I was looking for a bike for fun it wouldn't be an H2. There's a massive choice out there for £15k or less. If I had the cash then an H2 would be an excellent addition to my stable, but it's very limited in terms of what you can use it for so it wouldn't be my first or second choice bike, just something to wheel out from time to time.

Even with my kawasaki discount I would still chose the new zx10 over the H2,the only other bikes that take my fancy are the rsv4 and the pantigirdle 1299s

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it...twice the price but not twice the bike, etc.

But despite that, I'm glad it's there as an option...someone will think it's the greatest bike ever and good for them....the choice is there if you want it.
