I'm still wavering! Probably a ZX6R but could be a 675, CBR, R6 or even an 848! But probably a ZX6R.

I can vouch for the ZX6R... It's unbelievable in stock trim.

All it needs doing is:
Braided brake lines
Rearsets
5mm shim in the shock
60 profile Supercorsa SC compound tyres

I'll be getting Dual Carbon pads hopefully but even so, that's because I'm stupid haha

Depends which model though. The R series we've got (09-12) is better on the track. People seem to struggle to get the newer model to work as well as it's been set up more for the road.

If I get one it all be the RAF

I have an R9F which is the same as the RAF, I believe the RBF/RCF just have new paint jobs.

The '13+ 636 is a track weapon if you fit the suspension but it's dampened and sprung for the road. In some US classes the new 636 is dominating.

If you want a bike that can do anything really well out of the box 09-12 is the one for you. Just don't be fooled when you pin the throttle from 4-10k and you think there's no power, it's there - trust me! :P

The R9F and the RAF are pretty much identical. I think the RBF is as well.

I've got a load of black plastics should you find a cheaper bike with road rash.

Mechanically there is no change but I think each year received revised engine mapping.

RAF - RBF saw new paint schemes :)

Ever such a good bike though, you could leave it completely stock and not run into any issues at all until Fast Group pace

Pinning the throttle at 4k only happens in other parallel universes! :D

Check this one out, practically a new bike for half the MSRP! Yes I know it's really 5 years old, but it hasn't done anything.

Nice.. You can definitely get it for less than that!!

I bought my 09 with 12,000 miles 4 years ago for £4500 from a dealer. Only issue I had was an FI light which (when I checked the code) was the exhaust servo failing to operate fully. When it came on when riding I would clutch in, pin the throttle to redline and let the revs die down again - this cleared the light and I haven't had it return in at least 2 years. The servo still operates correctly.

I have to say I was impressed with the zx6r at the Chris walker day. It gave a lot of confidence quickly and the engine was excellent. (Shame about the tyres on them though....)

Oh you're actually going to look at it?! Ring up a Kawasaki dealership when you're there and give them the VIN code so you can check if they had the R/R recall done.

Other than that check if it has a servo eliminator or that the servo works :)

Also ride it to check the gearbox is okay (through all gears)

Nice, that's barely run in.
