Do you need a car seat? I've got one (possibly two) going free, suitable for new babies. Mint condition only crashed twice!

I've not bought anything yet. Kind of wanted to make sure everything was ok and closer to having no complications before spending money on it.

My Bro said I can have his buggy thing that turns into a carry thing or something. So that's the only thing we've sorted so far. I have no idea what you need to be honest. I've got a few dog beds and bowls though.

You need lots and lots of towels and bits of cloth for wiping up body fluids. And not the sexy kind either.

D check the seat is suitable for newborns, if not you're more than welcome to one of ours.

Bizarrely the hospital will not let you take the baby home without physically showing them a suitable car seat and you actually have to take it into the ward. I once got chatting to a very p!ssed off bloke in the lift carrying a car seat. He wasn't very happy because he was taking the baby home on a bus, he'd explained this to the nurses but they still sent him off to borrow one regardless.

Hahha, not sure how you can secure it in a bus.

I'll check out what we are getting. That is a very generous offer that I may take you up on.

That would be funny, to turn up to take the baby in full leathers, helmet, but carrying a baby seat. ahahhaa

It's just another example of regulating for the masses without allowing anyone to apply common sense.

Fits my bike but recon you'll struggle with those high level pipes!

I'm actually guilty of this one x2, but to be fair they were in their high chairs so a reduced risk of drowning

It was a very hot day and they'd covered themselves, their chairs and a 6 foot radius of the patio in chocolate mouse. Plus Sarah was out and it was bath night!

Once they start feeding themselves get a dustbuster (hand held little vac) or a dog.

Have baby wipes in every glove box of any vehicle they are likely to go in. Those things are amazing. They get all sorts of crap and corruption off almost anything.

And seriously, get as many lazy weekend lie ins as you can between now and Feb, because they won't exist for the next decade.
