Cheap low mileage GSXR750 here:

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/bikes-for ... 0/7646097/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Private seller so always open to silly offers ;)

Might be worth a phone call, and if you did buy it the ride home would be a belter all the way from Swansea.

Does it smell heavily of wax and cleaning products?

It might have a slight whiff of Carnauba

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-848-Da ... 33a5e52911" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Advert reads well with good service hsitory and some nice bling 8)

Ducati 848 Dark 2010. For sale is my beautiful Ducati in Dark with full service history which is all documented. The last service included the belts along with new chain and sprockets with receipts for just under a thousand pounds. Mot was done in May this year so has just under ten months left before due again. I fitted new tyres just under 4 months ago so plenty of tread left as you can see from the photos. I have fitted a few tasteful extras and these include Slash Cut Temi rear exhausts along with race ECU and filter, carbon fibre heel plates and exhaust shield and finally a Ducati carbon rear hugger. Also fitted is a rear tail tidy to fully expose the beautiful carbon of the exhaust and a Ducati tinted tall screen. Overall condition I would say is very nice but there are a few minor scratches and scuffs from general use, but you are free to view and decide for yourself. All keys and booklets are included along with all original parts removed from the bike as you can see in the pictures. The bike is HPI clear and registered in my name at the home address. Full inspection or test ride is available but would require photo id and full asking price before test ride. Any questions or more pictures then please just ask and I will try to answer as quickly as possible, many thanks Mark.

Oh. The 848. I haven't looked at the 675, thought the links were to the same bike

The second link using an eBay item number was the current model Daytona 675r but unfortunately it's now sold and not surprised as it was very cheap.

The 848 is nice and sounds well looked after and the photos seem to back it up. It also seems very well priced and Rocket did put the 848 on his list admittedly as a wild card. The 848 is a hell of alot of motorcycle for the money and at that price I don't think it will loose any value in a couple of years which is always a bonus.

I'm going to test ride before I buy. The 848 is very nice the 675 was cheap but out of my price range.

Fingers crossed get all the insurance sorted out soon.

The new 636 has pushed the price down on the 2009-2012 zx6rs. There are some massive bargains out there.

So i have heard form the insurance company and they have given me a fair offer .....

However they want £1000 for the gsxr I'm in two minds. It's a lot more than i expected it need a fair bit of work to get it into a track bike.

Wheels
Body work
Clipons
rear sets
Forks (i have some spare)

Quickly adding it up i think there's about a £1000 worth of bits with a few other odds and sods. So i would have £2000 in it at the end and that's hoping that the frame is straight and the engine is good.

Get rid of it. It took a massive impact, there could be cracks or the incident may have created weak spots which will show themselves later on.

Time to move on.
