Maybe shes stretched 4" and just thinks it applies to everything a man jumps into
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
Its already reduced tbh Kwacky. I think I need to try them on again and then make a decision. I had the kids with me when trying them on so felt all mithered and hassled. Problem is I have no intention buying them from the official Dainese store where I can try them on as there not keen on discount and I got the feeling first time I tried it on they knew I wasn't going to buy from them, so feel awkward going back again.
Haha as long as you're not a regular in there trying on stuff you're probably just being paranoid. After you've tried them on just say you can get it for x amount from y place. If they don't want to do business with you at or near x price then that's their loss! I find most places will at least try and get close and if not I walk and never go back!
I just had to go and have another look. The Laguna, to me anyway, looks to be more of a race suit ie tightly fitted and slightly hunched so will be more comfortable when on bike. The Chrono looks more upright and a bit looser fitting. For me the Laguna still shades it but it depends what you want it for?
Laguna is the higher spec suit with the in boot feature and injected shoulders but the main upgrade imo is the amount and position of stretch panels to give a good fit.
Will try the Laguna seca on again and take it from there.
Yea definitely wouldn't rush into a suit Blade take your time and like you said think about it. If it's uncomfy or too tight then that's all your think about when your riding and will distract your attentions from the road.
I'm going to try the Laguna Seca Suit on again at the end of the week and make a final decision then. TBH I have wanted a Laguna Seca suit for a good views now as have alwasy admired the styling of the suit.
I m definitely more interested in the Laguna Seca than the Crono now though as I think the biaxial stretch on the back will help improve the fit. Also the Laguna Seca has the feature to use the Dainese in-boots which I quite like the idea of and may also go on the wish list.
It tried to buy a Dainese summer jacket from what i beleive is the very same seller, yesterday, Blade. Only to be told once i had paid for it that the jacket was incorrectly listed and they only had one with fluoro yellow on it. Now trying to get my money back and wondering why Paypal are currently witholding the funds.
54 is too big but not as bad as first expected. It was OK on my upper torso but loose on my legs which I guess must mean compared to Italian's my legs are skinny.
The 50 was snug but OK so not sure if to go for a 50 or a 52. It didn't help that the back protector was too long and making the suit fit awkwardly. Told the sales assistance who strangely said, yes I know I just grabbed any and its way too long but then didn't offer to change even though I clearly was struggling with what she had given me. That pissed me off so price match or not (I didn't ask) she wasn't getting my business, what happened to customer service and being helpful? I asked for fitting advice twice and both times she just said its up to you and complimented me on the fit of the 50 and 54 depending on what I said. She clearly couldn't be bothered helping and would just sell me anything which was a major turn off.
Exactly what I thought. I just took the suit off and walked out and I was genuinely interested in discussing a price match, abd doing a deal today, but happy to go else where now for obvious reasons.
I'm not fussy or awkward but I do like to be looked after, especially when buying what I consider high value luxury goods.
