Buddy that's awful news yet you and the misses are positive people and that's half the battle with the C seeing what friends have gone through.

Be hugs and slaps fella. And remember a problem shared is never a problem with friends

Thanks for all the well wishes .... greatly appreciated

We have an Oncology visit tomorrow to discuss the Chemo treatment .... this one will be a little difficult;
I suppose it'll make it more real, if that makes sense :?

And then another MRI scan on Friday as a previous MRI scan showed a shadow on her liver .... we were told not to concern ourselves with this as 99% of the population walk around with shadows on their liver but they want to be doubly sure :(

You wouldnt believe how strong we are which is a blessing (angel)

I've spoke to my mother-in-law tonight and she cant believe how strong we are ... personally its for the Spudlets and even when Jo and I have our quiet time, all the conversations are positive and talking about our future ... she wont let me go 2nd bike hunting just yet though (giggle)

Spudda, you have all the right attitudes to kick it's butt as from what i have seen positivity and determination is a big part of the battle.

Be under no illusions as to how hard the chemo will be on her buts its only for a short time in the scheme of things.

Well, I've got mine......my pink rubber wristband for BCA as a show of support......won't mean much, unless the Adjuster has uncanny vision....but I'll wear it anyway. (nod)

She has had her first dose of Chemo today .... eventually |(

We rocked up at 9am and they weren't expecting her (doh)

However, after a little bit of checking they found that she was only down for a blood test and an ECG ....
We commented on how we were told we were going to be need all day and that we had been told it was 'Chemo Day'
They aren't allowed to do them until they have had the results back for the blood and the ECG .... these are test they had carried out so why cant we 'sort of' rush them through which they did and managed to start her treatment around 12:30 this afternoon (y)

So ... 1 down 5 to go with the next one scheduled for the 4th of Feb

She's obviously tired but pleasingly well considering todays treatment
