Went to give blood but my iron count was 132 and the minimum is 135 so I couldn't donate.

I think - but I'm by no means certain - that iron levels are normally at their highest first thing in the morning. I seem to remember that from having blood drawn for a medical a while back.
Come to think of it, I'm probably about due for another one.

Dealing with the aftermath of beer and Burger King yesterday

Up at 5am to make sure Jess was caffeinated prior to leaving for her early shift placement this week.

A bit of quiet time till the kids wake up and then into home schooling! (I’m a bit weird, I actually really enjoy it )

Taken a quick break from teacher duties and just got my first jab.

Dr wants me to get my second before I leave again. So only 5 weeks between shots of AZ. Said due to my exposure with travel it was preferable. He got his own 6 weeks apart.

I like it when Doctors actually give a shit!

Does anyone have suggestions for things to do near Shrewsbury on Wednesday morning? There's a motorcycle shop next to where I'm going, and a cafe but I'm looking for more than 1 hour of boredom killing if possible.

On foot or car?

I'll be in the car but happy to take walking shoes if the weather is good

FINALLY....mailed off a letter to my long-lost Mummy. Took me an age to write it, re-write it, etc.
I hope she's rich & generous.

.....Oh, and some cholo punk, brought a pistol into my sober-living home last night.... so I spent an hour or so this morning stripping it down into it's component parts & destroying them all one-by-one.
Then I kicked him out. LOLOL!!

Wife went and gave hers yesterday and promptly nearly passed out afterwards. So it seems she will not be allowed to give blood again.

I gave blood once but am no longer eligible either due to having M.E.

I'm AB+ which is a blood group they're in short stock of too. It's well received by more than half of the blood types.

Court appearance for licence appeal….

Appeal upheld and no suspension period!!

Phew….. now to be a good boy….ish.
