The diving is supposed to be pretty good.. that's about as far as my interest goes in that idea. And Timor would make me isolate on return as well.Kwacky wrote:Move to Timor

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
I can foresee massive civil unrest from this over the next 12 months.
One thing is 100% certain is the Governments everywhere will have to have a plan for any future problems and they must learn to work together better.
Its nonsense that professional footballers and other sport people can travel round the world to play pointless international matches yet people like kiwi cannot live any sort of normal family life.

Chatting with various nurses and doctors at the hospital yesterday, their opinions confirmed my thoughts on Boris never having had covid.
"Typically we see patients in for 3-4 weeks, there is no way he had it for only 5 days"

Supposedly the original story was written in satire & everyone jumped on it and requoted it as truth.
I have no idea what Johnson has said about it (if anything).

I think it’s a bit foil hat brigade to think he faked covid
What is a fact is that it’s causing chaos in the manufacturing sector and the governments support is failing miserably

Wife has had the first instance of a child with high temperature in school today.
There is a very strict Government protocol they have to follow but the system is so overloaded that it cannot cope and they cannot do their job.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
We've had a confirmed case in year 11 at my eldest's high school. They are in year group "Bubbles" so the whole of year 11 is off for two weeks. The fact that siblings of year 11 kids are still attending appears to be lost on them.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
3 schools in Doncaster have confirmed cases and have done the same, entire year groups off for 2 weeks with siblings still attending, and the kids who are off are obviously staying at home, right? Hopefully the sick ones do but I can't see them all staying in.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
My youngest lads school had a case and sent the whole year home. The older boys school seem to have been a more targeted approach with a smaller bubble isolated.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
I heard earlier that the number being hospitalised by it has doubled in a week.
That is what will frighten the Government into acting.
