Re: What are you doing today ??
Sorry Nutz it was a screen shot last week I took for reference when the TD was cancelled.
Just had a quick search and can't find it now unfortunately. Advice is the same and I would quote in a telephone call or attach the screenshot to an email.
Good luck hope you get sorted out

Re: What are you doing today ??
We just got a business update relating to the virus. The way my new employer communicates is so much clearer than my old employer.
The words themselves show they have their situation under control but their tone is one of great remorse and apology. They're transparent with their plan and the senior management in that business sector have taken pay cuts despite working full hours just to show solidarity towards employees which will be taking a pay cut.
I am so glad I got out when I did. The timing has been impeccable for me, from Graduating last year to getting paid off, to finding a new essential job which I am needed for otherwise I wouldn't be entitled to Furlough! I have the best Guardian Angel I think

Current advice from ABTA
https://www.abta.com/news/coronavirus-outbreak" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The European Commission has already relaxed its position on the regulations, and as a result many other EU countries including France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands and Denmark have taken action to amend their laws and/or provide additional guidance as a result of the crisis. These new measures will help protect customer rights and provide clear guidance, while ensuring travel companies have a chance of surviving beyond the current crisis.
We are still waiting for action and guidance from the UK Government.

Doing nothing at all today....it's pi$$ing down right now, and for the next three or four days-ish, so I'll be housebound, Coronavirus-or-not.
So...playing movies & playing guitars....which is all I do anyway, I just have a decent reason for once.

Re: What are you doing today ??
You may have a guardian angel, however i think you make most of your own luck in life. You made a decision, dealt with it well and got a new job - you did that, not some bloke in wingsCav wrote:We just got a business update relating to the virus. Agree with Cookie you make your own luck in this life.
I learnt a long time ago never sit around moaning about a situation, its unlikely to change without changes from you.
