I call it an Auto because to anyone who doesn't know how the system works, it drives like a slush box.

Reversing is a little trickier initially but you get used to it with the VW. I used to drive a Mk6 and Mk7 Golf with the DSG so it's the system I've used the most. They're a lot more responsive than the BMW ZF box (I know yours is the DCT) when you roll up to a roundabout, spot a gap and stab the loud pedal.

I personally like them to be honest. Car parks are the worst thing for them though I'll agree that

I'm still trying to decide on a new company car for next year. I was 100% going electric, but the new company car list came out and it's got the new Cooper S Works AWD 306bhp Mini Clubman on it. Plus a really nice Black Edition A3 Quattro.

Audi S8.....something that can shove 'em a bit.
You're also going to need a nitrous system..../

The new BMW 8 speed auto has very fast shift times tbh Cav. It's a big improvement over older ZF boxes and current Dct to be fair. I think we will start to see less and less Dsg type gearboxes as the full autos get better and torque outputs continue to rise and challenge clutch based gearboxes

I agree with you Blade. The modern versions of the traditional gearboxes are definitely winning these days.

Actually it's not that bad, and the fuel tax benefit is peanuts for a 5 litre car!

Anyway I’d be bored of it after 3 months, it’s a car and I live in the UK. What I should do is get an electric company car and spend the 400 hundred quid I save a month not being shafted on leasing a Panigale!
