Put the Christmas tree up.
But in my defence, I waited till the 01 Dec and it will be down in 8 days as I’ll be off to work (till next year) Tuesday week, and we are having an early Christmas (Jess, all the kids and myself) at mine next weekend.

That really doesnt look far away! Any more rain forecast?kiwikrasher wrote:About 12 km away now. They nearly had it sorted but the front closest to us didn’t quite get knocked down during the bit of rain we had (but luckily the other main fronts did and they were threatening properties within 2-3 km from the fronts) and now the remain front is getting strong Northerlies to westerlies which is not ideal for us.

Yep....doesn't look that far away at all.
On the bright side, that just means that it's really, really big.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Recovered from last night's works piss-up then went for lunch with some friends, after that we went to J&S Doncaster because one of them wanted a red jacket. They didn't have that but she then saw a Red/Grey/Black Kawasaki Z900 Performance with a nice discount and only 17 miles on the clock... She's been looking to upgrade her Yam FZ8 for a little while and has been looking for a Red Z900.
I was taken by a Speed Triple Dark edition... Shame that I know it would be uncomfortable for my legs.

Hope the danger goes away, kiwi. Not a good situation to be in at all.

Work have flown me home early before last time the place was under direct threat (2013) but hopefully it doesn’t get to that this time

My fingers are crossed for you, Kiwi!
I'm spending the day feeling sorry for myself but also trying to stop thinking about the jobs I've applied for. I'm like an excited child. Haven't heard back from any of the previous ones, hopefully I hear something about the latest one though as it sounds ideal for me.

One of my orb weavers laid an egg sac. I didn't think it was fertile. I checked on it today and hundreds of tiny spiders ran out.

Please dont let any escape, I've seen Ackarnaphonbia (cant spell it!) I know what happens when they go and make a nest for themselves! That film still petrifies me to this very day!Kwacky wrote:One of my orb weavers laid an egg sac. I didn't think it was fertile. I checked on it today and hundreds of tiny spiders ran out.
