Looks like you went past Arthog(the other side of the water from Barmouth), which is where my son currently is staying for his school residential trip!
I bet he is having a ball up here. Lots of fun in this beautiful area. Bet he will tell you all about it when he's home Image

Haven't done a massive amount today to be honest..took a more leisurely day. Stayed fairly late as well

Around 1030 I think

Headed down to Aberystwyth and walked up their hill which over looks the town. Been up there before a couple of times but when I was really, really drunk at night in the pitch black and the other time really hungover + no sleep so more of a still drunk feeling, morning time, years ago. Today we walked it and what a beautiful view. (Pic attached)

As we were walking up I noticed there were a couple of ladies stripping down on the beach for their morning swim in the sea. My misses has the new P30 Pro, it has a x50 zoom....I can recommend this phone.....ImageImage

Got up the top took in the views all 3 of us had a drink and me and my misses had a cake too

Walked down the hill to the beach and let our doggy let out some energy by running up and down the beach telling off the waves!!

By this time it was around 1430 and my misses had found a go karting track leaflet which is about 30 mins away whilst at the tram station at the hill (we used their loo not the tram). She said you will love this, I saw it I said yes! We drove over. It was an outside track which is a rarity so couldn't say no. I've only ever been on a handful of outdoor tracks before, 1 was in Germany which had powerful karts and 1 was in Oz which had even more powerful karts, and a couple in Wales before and a couple down south excluding any small karting which is more fun than competitive, it's very rare to see outdoor. So had to do it!

Luckily there were a group of local lads racing and said I could join them so great I thought I'll join

Had a nice couple of race with the.. the karts weren't bad..I tried 2 of them. One was set up for the long straights and long bends with nice pin point steering but a crap pick up off the line, the second one was set up for the short tight hair pins and quick pick up from the line. Both had their own characteristics which made for interesting driving.

By this time.it was 1600hrs or so and we were both hungry

Headed back home to Borth and found a local dog friendly pub (look in what I ate there!)

Got back for around 2000hrs

Great week.

Home time tomorrow

We work today, so we can enjoy tomorrow

Tomorrow comes from today's sacrifices

A lie in, first time for as long as I can remember.....chillin catching up on here and FB, and dipped into forums I have not looked at for ages lol.... nothing changes.
Looked out window, as predicted its wet and grey. So later after brekkie, I will be fettling with the track bike, pads, and so forth need changing, just fitted new battery as well, it's load up day on Friday night, that's all come around quick, and then it will be in Cartagena for a little year end track fun in the sun.
Looks like with will be back in the hotel down at La Manga this time, so out favourite restaurant will get a visit no doubt
Really really really need this, if for nothing else just getting away to chill, if you can class pushing yourself around a race track in the sun for three days as relaxing ha ha. I will be having a little rest over three days as I have agreed to take some official pics, rather than the ones I take from the roof or pit lane, so hopefully I will be getting in field for a bit each day.

Bought a new washing machine. Our one is making a massive amount of racket for the past couple of months and last night went crack. So we believe it's on it's way out, instead of waiting for it to pee itself we decided to buy a new one. Weve had the machine for 5 years and we are unsure how old it was before we bought it for a huge sum of £25!!

Our new one is arriving this Friday it is top of the line LG machine. It's crazy even has WIFI connection so it can display any fault codes, and help with fixing and download a new washing programme

We had a meeting today about working from home. Sorry, flexible working

Anyway, I took their advice and came home. I'm now fussing the dog and drinking tea.

Today taken the dog out.
Chased up wisdom teeth removals at hospital. They are currently on June's referrals! My oast referral finally got through to the hospital in July - so 6 months waiting for referral to get to hospital and so far a 2 month waiting from hospital so guess october/ November I'll be hearing something in an official capacity
Got my car washed after holiday it was filthy
Shredded 9 months worth of paperwork
Cooked tea
Now watching a bit of YouTube whilst misses has a bath
