Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
The 'M' version as the Ohlins electronic suspension. The standard bike doesn't.
There is also some clever stuff about being able to set up the bike from a mobile phone app and loads of carbon fibre.

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
Lets hope there is some security in place round that or there could be some interesting "moments"..... Imagine someone sat on the inside of a posers bend with R1's coming round knee down, mid-corner get the app out and hit the soft suspension buttonduke63 wrote:.. Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
It had better be good as just heard from someone on a magazine road test in Spain for the new S1000RR that the Beemer is a game changer and its cheaper than the Yam too.

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
"game changer" is a term I hate because they very rarely mean it. Unless it's a MotoGP bike with an intelligence system to allow us mortals to ride it like Rossi I can't see how it's going to change the game.

No. It'd better bang like a shithouse door in the wind, coz it'll never make it on its looks.Monty wrote:Is it just me that thinks it looks pants?
