Thunderstorms today and over the weekend. Might be a few hefty ones by the sound of it.

Monster storm about 10 miles wide (weather radar) woke us at 6.30, not the only one this weekend I think.

we had it about 3:30 in the morning wake us up, was pretty big, I tied so hard to sleep through it as I was so tired but the Mrs was acting like a small child looking out the window and talking to me about it...

Booked in for service at BS bikes/Staffordshire Triumph at 3pm. So a ride there after work, and a taz out on some random demo bike.

I can then finally open my bike without worrying about it going pop.

After a long think I've re fitted the standard exhaust,I didn't like the sound of the aftermarket box and I'm sure it was hurting the midrange .Im happier with the sound and now I can book mallory with kwacky

Took the RSV into work today as it was supposed to be fooking hot and I wanted to pick the new lid up. Well the weather didn't disappoint it was fooking fooking hot,, anytime I hit town or traffic the bike temperature shot up to 98+ degrees Was running a little late so had to make up a bit of time, the roads where nice and dry and very warm..

Picked up the new lid, with the initial ride home I am very impressed. I had a couple of moments where the sun came up under the drop down visor, but that was mainly when looking at the clocks. I'm not sure about the pinlock at the moment as the edges of the pinlock are annoying me. It's the first time I've had a pinlock visor so I'm going to try it for another couple of rides and see how I go. The one thing that was absolutely outstanding was the airflow in the lid, I could actually feel the air running through my hair.. Very weird but nice all the same. Looking forward to monday evening to see how it feels on a long motorway ride

No, the standard screen looks like someone shrunk it, waste of time in my opinion.


The screen I have was one of the extras thrown in to sweeten the deal. It work really, really well. It was on the demo bike too. I really don't know why they bothered with the standard screen, you cant even call it a screen

The reason I ask is I have a Puig one for my bike similar size not really used it yes so might try it for the next rideout.

Try it, you can always take it off again

Fitted a few mods which are not really bling, but very functional.
1) Cover for the Rads - When I first looked at the rads, they looked really vulnerable, and expensive to replace - The crap on the roads seems to be getting worse, so belt and braces I fitted these today.
2) Tail Tidy fitted.
3) Cheap Far Eastern levers, had on the S1 and they were fine, so fitted these today. - Again I need the dog leg on the clutch in particular, as my hands are always to small to get a decent purchase on the standard levers.

Rad guard looks good. Not too sure about the levers.

Washed and polished it, then checked it over ready for Tuesday. All looking good.





The only thing that's bugging me now is that its a near 3 hour ride up to Donny and its going to be covered in bugs when I get there.

Is it wrong to take a cleaning pack so I can clean it up before getting to the track?

Finally got to ride it again although just to work but still! roads were still damp and greasy with a lot of muck down the back roads but still felt good to be back out on it
