Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I like the RC8 and I know how well yours has been looked after. One of the main reasons for change is the riding position. Anything more than an hour in the saddle is causing pains in my forearms, and a trapped nerve in my shoulder isn't helping much either.C00kiemonster wrote:If your in the market for an RC8, i'm in the market to sell at some point....
I think it's time to give in to my body and get something a bit less sports focused.

Get a Multi, still sporty as you'll need but a better riding position for us aging die hards

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
Kiwi your not going to get a Multi for 5k mate although agree great choice.
The SuperDuke has plenty of poke and nutz likes vtwins but the biggest bonus for me would be the WP suspension as standard.
For the money I think you will find it hard to find beat a tidy used Super Duke in he naked class.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I don't think a mutley is quite me, so far a 990 is looking like a strong contender. I want to try a street triple to see how they fell against a twin.
I'm going to see of I can get down and take this out for a test ride next weekend.

It's a bit over budget, but hey you never know.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
So I like ^^ that one, but I really like this one http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ogcode=dsp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The problem is, the one I really like is two hours away, where as the other is only an hour away. I've got a pass for next weekend so should I bite the biscuit and do the 4 hour round trip or stay a bit more local and enjoy some time just blatting the bike round fun roads.....
The dealer in Cambridge also has a street, so I could try and blag back to back rides...

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
Link doesn't work for me
But to answer the question. When I m shopping for a bike I m always prepared to travel nationally so a 2 hour ride would be a no brainer for the right bike.
