I seem to recall that a Swiss firm came out with a similar concept a few years ago using a K100 Beemer engine. It was featured on Top Gear and got some good reviews. I quite like the concept as an alternative to conventional 2 wheels

Very interesting. Bet cornering feels weird on it if it doesn't lean. Could have potential though if it wasn't active most of the time but activated in an emergency situation.

Combined that space saving and safety with driverless tech and there'd be so much more road for us on real bikes!
But in all seriousness, once driverless is able to be mainstream, they should toughen up the driving tests to a high level and if you can't pass you get a 'driverless only' permit.
