Oberon bar end mirrors
Well worth the extra cash. They are not exactly expensive anyway ( not Rizoma money) but they work far far better than the Chinese ones i tried first.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
Not the best photo as taken into the sun but i have also removed the original mirrors too.
Anyone know anyone who can do 3D printing? I need some mirror block off plates but no one makes them for the 916 range anymore.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
The image on this mirror is the same size as the original mirrors. The Chinese mirrors were making the image so small that i couldn't see anything worthwhile. I have a mirror on one end and matching bar end on the other.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
These are the ones i got in the 75mm diameter. The handlebar plug is a much better design too and i can remove the mirror without removing the bar end, for trackdays.

Still looks p!ssed off. You'd think a few extra ponies would have cheered it upduke63 wrote:Not the best photo as taken into the sun but i have also removed the original mirrors too.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
I like my Oberons.
Mine are a wee bit smaller, but they're clear enough to see everything I need to and you soon get used to them.
Good looking mod Duke.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
My chines ones work ok but they are a bit awkward to use, a lot waggling elbows about to see. The oberon one looks a lot more user friendly.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
The mirror can be fixed to the middle of the bar end or to the very end and obviously at any angle you wish.
Think i may have sorted the issue of mirror block off plates too. Pro-Bolt make some decent push in buttons to cover two of the three empty holes for the mirror holes and i can fit a decent bolt to the other hole that fixes the fairing stays to the fairing top.

Or you could asked Cav about 3D printing

I think those bolt blanks look about as good an alternative as you're likely to get....they'll look like they're 'supposed' to be there.

Re: Oberon bar end mirrors
I got mine from here...
http://www.spengineering.co.uk/search/for/Mirror/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
...I think.
The flat bits used to bug me though, the Pro-Bolt ones don't seem to have that so maybe a better option. Quality is ok though. Better than their tail tidy at least.
