Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
(Sunday) Rode it down to Sussex, breakfast a Billy's, then back towards Alton for a mid afternoon coffee and cake, home in time to wash the bike before it got dark.
A good day, saved fuel in the morning with the steady riding on the slippy roads, burnt it all off in the afternoon with some exciting runs as the roads dried out a little lmao....

This fog and mist can do one. It's really thick in places and we've had it for two days.

Does that guy that washes bikes and coats in ACF50 do call outs? and if so does he supply all the water?
I am wondering If I can get it done in the works carpark, but there's no mains water nearby.

Dry roads on the way home so I blew away some cobwebs. Not as much grip as I had hoped and the bike was sliding a little bit but it made a dull ride home a bit more entertaining.

Good thanks. I've been updating D6's 01 thread.
A little bit slower on the turn in than the Z8s but otherwise they're a step up in handling and stopping.

Not heard from him for over a year. I text him last year to say I was going to his shop. Nothing.

I sent him a text. He's got a lot on his plate with the house move and with work.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Removed headlight brackets and fuel injector Covers for a bit of powder coat action on Monday. Fitted front LED indys, which was a pain because you have to take the top yoke off to do it. Ah well. Also fitted some black anodised upper fork covers to hide the shiny chrome forks. Fitted black levers, barrel grips and 'Ace/clubman' style bars. It's coming together nicely now. I'll get some photos when it's all back together properly and had a wash down and detail.

I couldn't be bothered to give it a proper wash, so I hosed it down with soapy water and scrubbed the chain.

Did anything fall off?
My chain looked terrible before I cleaned it but it soon looked like new. This is the stuff I'm using on the chain and it's great, spray it on, leave and use a rag to clean the chain then lube.

Early start this morning. That together with some of the schools being shut meant a hassle free ride into work.
